Camp Beaumont, UK
For the first time, students from Denmark, Germany and Spain attended the Helen Doron English Summer School for 10 days at Camp Beaumont in the UK. Exclusive Helen Doron holiday courses were taught in the morning and in the afternoon, campers participated in the camp’s ongoing activities, joining the British and other international kids on the premises. Of course, this was the ideal setting to practice English-speaking skills, while making lots of new friends. One of the students enthusiastically exclaimed after the first day of English lessons, “The 4 hours went faster than a 45 minute English lesson in my school! Sweet!”
Some of the exciting, nonstop activities included: touring London, mini-Olympics, pool party, sky climb, and cinema. With the success of this first, pilot group, we expect to expand attendance next year.
Local Summer Programmes
Additionally, throughout Europe, South America and Israel, happy kids attended a variety of Helen Doron summer programmes and significantly improved their English, while having fun in the sun.
For example, Sardinia, Italy was the breathtaking setting for the Helen Doron English Family Vacation. All participants, both kids and parents, reported that the English only programme completely surpassed their expectations. Everyone had a wonderful time and English skills improved. Families are already reserving their places for next year.
Arts and crafts, sports and games were the foundation of the Helen Doron Satu Mare summer camp in Romania.
Western Ukraine’s Helen Doron summer camp was also a very popular destination, with enthusiastic reviews from both the parents and their children.
Many of the camps featured a specific theme, such as: Slovakia’s Indian Camp, Ecuador’s cooking week, Turkey’s Aquarium Course and Israel’s “Trip to Egypt”.
Austrian Helen Doron Teen English students were treated to a culture-filled world of English in the country’s capitol.
